The author considers herself ‘just one of the seven billion dreamers.’ She had started writing at the early age of seven, and had always resorted to poetry to see the world as ‘Could bes’ and not ‘What Ifs’. The presence of the poet has evolved from a desperate and romantic poet to a spiritual and introspective intellectual. Her poetry deals with the most subtle moments of life we often ignore. These little moments define the very reality that we perceive.
The author finds herself a 'captive' in the clutches of the art of poetry, and believes that poetry is not just a form of expression, it is all the pieces of us that we lost along the ‘Journey of Life.’ The motto of the poet strongly remains to find at least one person who can connect to the words she ‘ripped off her soul’. The poet is just one of the many who have decided to take the mask off her face.
