My name is Dev Dutta and I'm a fifth semester, a third-year student pursuing LLB in Sureshwar Dutta Law College, University of Calcutta. I never thought in the wildest of my dreams that I'll bump into law as my career! Although I was extremely fascinated by the judiciary and its overall mechanism all over the world. I was a Law major hasa special interest in subjects like international law, criminal law and space law.I realised that Law isn't just a subject to pursue, but a whole fascinating universe to dive deep into it. I started getting more and more keenly interested and especially I was inspired by great leaders in the field of Law such as Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln, Barack Obama and even Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud, who is currently a Judge of the Supreme Court of India. My mentor and guide, Chayan Chakravarty also played an immense role in inspiring me and getting me into where I am now and where I aspire to be in future. I have big dreams which push me to thrive and be the best version of myself.
