Our land is our reality. It shapes our cultural and socio-political reality and, is in turn shaped by them. Our interaction and manipulation of land has consequences that alter the realities and shape our destinies. 'Life on Land' covers 12 such altered realities through studies carried out by individual researchers. The book thus covers the possible dimensions to land: religious, geographical, cultural, political, ethical and economical, emphasising the need to initiate 'Sustainable Development Goals' by individuals and government alike, through their studied policies and action to preserve the land and the lives on it - as it is all we have and as it is because of which we are.
