An instrument is a device in which we can determine the magnitude or value of the quantity to be measured. The measuring quantity can be voltage, current, power and energy etc.

Dr. DSNM RAO received his B.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad, M.Tech from JNTU Kakinada in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. His Ph.D from NIT Jamshedpur, India. Currently working as Associate Professor in Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department in Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. His research interest includes Power Electronics, power system economic operation and control, soft computing techniques in electrical engineering field.
