Author Raghavendran Rao, also known as R. Rao, hails from a small village called Pudukkudi and received his education in Palayakkottai, Thirumakkottai, and Kumbakonam. Later, he relocated to New Delhi in search of better opportunities and settled there. His parents, Late Mr. C.N. Vasudeva Rao and Mrs. Kantha Bai, come from a family associated with Sri Raghavendra Swami, a revered spiritual figure who attained Jeeva Samadhi in Mantralayam, Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh during the 17th century, now known as Sri Raghavendra Swami Matha.
Apart from the book on Mr. Narendra Modi, R. Rao is also an author of a book titled "Creating New India." This book envisions India becoming the most influential country in the world.
