When was the last time you wrote a letter? Once, letters were the only means of communication, which were filled with lots of emotions and love. In this modern era, we want everything instantly. Many messaging apps replaced this letter culture. What if 2K kids were asked to write letters? The generation born with modern gadgets and rapid internet growth.
Secret letters is an epistolary anthology, compiled by Jamuna Loganathan. It’s a teamwork of 46 writers, which consists of 19 English letters and 28 Tamil letters. Our co-authors are from Sree Narayana Guru Matriculation Higher Secondary School, located in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. After the successful publication of the “Budding Artists” anthology, we came up with this book.
This anthology is proof that youths have strong emotions, high creativity, spirituality, passion and so on. This book is a sample or evidence of how modern society and the nuclear family influence children’s mental health. This book consists of mixed emotions like joy, love, devotion, sorrow, loneliness, etc. I hope this book brings back your adolescent and school memories.

Jamuna Loganathan
Jamuna Loganathan is a post graduate in English literature. She is an aspiring budding writer and narrator too. She also directed a short film in an intra college competition. She is always eager to do new things. She participated in a college election and was selected as Rotaract club student President (2019-2020). She also worked as President of the English Literary Association (2021-2023), Vidhyasagar women’s college, Chengalpattu. She published 13+ works on different publishing platforms.
