This book is to meet the requirement of mathematics practical for undergraduate students using Maxima. Maxima is an open-source software like Scilab.
This book consists of several solved problems, sketching functions in polar coordinates and cartesian coordinates, graphing the conic section (circle, parabola, ellipse, and hyperbola), Taylor's polynomial up to order four.
From given Maxima commands using a computer, one can sketch the graph of a function in two dimensions or three dimensions.
Each section of this book consists of the Maxima Programme command and various types of graphing curves manually.
