Padma Shri Haladhar Nag is a Poet-Singer-Kavi-Bard-Balladeer-Troubadour- Minstrel: all rolled into one. A living icon of the rich folk literary traditions of Sambalpuri-Koshali language and region, he has written more than a thousand poems including epic poems.

P. K. Dash
P.K. Dash was born in Khuntpali, a village near Bargarh, Odisha, and spent his childhood in the village. He graduated from Sambalpur University, taught in G. M. College, Sambalpur for about three years, and served in the State Bank of India for two years. He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1981. During his career in civil service, he worked in Madhya Pradesh and New Delhi.
After superannuation, he lives in Bhopal with his spouse. He loves to read and write.

This book for children contains two stories: 'Cave of Joy: Anand Gufa' & 'The Swan and The Turtle'. Both the stories were initiated by children - 'Cave of Joy' by Samriddhi, and 'The Swan and The Turtle' by Swayam. The author merely took the stories forward. Aadya Stutee, also a child, drew beautiful drawings for these stories.
