THE CHARIOTEER Humanity is alive?

Author Name: Er. Manju Ashish Buddhaghosh | Format: Hardcover | Genre : Literature & Fiction | Other Details

In a world fractured by caste, religion, and prejudice, two unlikely friends forge a bond that defies every barrier. Anuj and Vimal, each marked by their own struggles, become each other’s charioteers—guiding one another through life’s harshest storms. Their journey is one of resilience and hope, set against the backdrop of a society that too often chooses division over compassion.

Through the intertwined lives of Ramvilash, a humble Hindu laborer, and Hamza, a gentle Muslim worker, the novel explores the everyday realities of discrimination and the quiet strength found in unity. As their families face hardship and uncertainty, the story asks: can friendship and humanity triumph where society has failed?

Blending emotional depth with sharp social insight, The Charioteer is a moving tribute to those who dare to rise above hatred and embrace togetherness. This novel will touch your heart and inspire you to believe in the enduring power of empathy.

Er. Manju Ashish Buddhaghosh

Manju Ashish Buddhaghosh is a multitalented creator—a full-time software engineer by day and a passionate storyteller by soul. With over six years of industry experience in software development and UX design, he has lent his expertise to multiple startups and companies while simultaneously carving out a distinct voice in the creative world.

A graduate in Information Technology with certifications in Theatre and UX Design, Manju’s career beautifully blends logic with emotion. His writing journey began long before his debut book was published on his birthday, April 13, 2023. Since then, he has authored more than five short films, a web series, and a full-length feature film. His stories often center around pressing social issues, using fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and screenwriting as powerful tools to reflect the world back to itself.

Manju’s voice has echoed on stage as well—he’s a theatre artist and stand-up comedian who has performed in cities like Lucknow, Basti, Banaras, and Prayagraj. His performance as Akshay Kumar Ravan’s son in a Delhi Ramayana show even earned him a notable award. He holds a theatre certification from NSDn and continues to bring storytelling to life both on page and on stage.

As a core member of Trinetra Films Production, Manju has worn many hats—writer, screenwriter, dialogue specialist, and director—across four short films. His upcoming project, a heartfelt combination of a book and short film, dives deep into another crucial social theme, staying true to his mission: to write what can't always be spoken. “I write,” he says, “because my pen can scream where I cannot. I write to show the mirror to society.”

When not coding, directing, or writing, you’ll find him at peace in the mountains or savoring his second oxygen—tea. His favorite writing time? 3 AM, when the world sleeps and the silence lets his thoughts breathe.
