Like river, tradition and culture are not reversible. Smruti gets his first project as a civil engineer to build a bridge on river Sindhuja. While pursuing his passion for completing his dream project, Smurti also falls in love with the people of Maishannapur who live on the banks of Sindhuja. It is here that Smruti meets his dream girl, Anannya. He also finds a strong support in Madhu Mangala Mahapatra – Anannya’s grandfather and also highly regarded in the village – to positively influence the lives in Maishannapur steering clear of the local politics. Strange are coincidences that lead one to another, and Smruti had to leave Maishannapur. With Smruti not by his side, Madhu Gosein faces dejection, defeat and death; with the age old culture of Maishannapur suffering. Will Smruti be able to come back to Maishannapur and save Anannya’s family from the evil political forces?
The names of some places may have resemblance with the real ones. This may be treated as a matter of coincidence.
