This is the story of two school girls’ friendship. How a selfish Rina tells a lie to cover her mistake, resulting in both the girls being punished assignments after school hours. Sheela the studious is upset that she is punished for no fault of her. What happens when they are going home after their assignments? Will Sheela help Rina, who had an accident? How do Rina’s parents and other school girls react, the next day, when Sheela goes to meet Rina in the hospital? Will Rina have a change of heart? Who reveals the truth to Rina’s parents? The moral lessons to be imbibed from the incident is lucidly described that all the young readers will connect with and be inspired.
The stories can be read independently by 6-7 years old children. Few words have been listed with meaning to improve their vocabulary.
