Tom

As Klorg’s, brutish looking men were harassing 3 peasants and their wives, Alieni-ya, long eared and a fair tone with long flowing green hairs and purple eyes in strange sorceress type of dress, came and blasted one of them into a sack of grains stored godown. Before other 5 could react they too joined their friend in the godown. They all stood up to fight the strangely greenish hood clad lady in reddish dress but seeing her fierce look and sparks playing around her eyes they ran off in fear.

All cheered.

After few minutes the tyrant Klorg, an alien mutant with shark like head and muscular human like structure to the rest of the body, laser beam emitting eyes but with grey colored skin and a fin on the backside of his head, arrived and soon he and Alieni-ya began fighting. They fought vigorously by throwing powers at each other.

Klorg used a power surge and blasted Alieni-ya into a godown.

“None can defeat me…” said Klorg laughing with pride “…so you all will do as I say.”

Alieni-ya came out but by then Klorg had gone.

“So.” Said a man to Alieni-ya.

“So…” said Alieni-ya sadly“… we suffer till Tom creates a way to end Klorg’s tyranny.”

Meanwhile in a house in NYC,

“Well…” said a brown haired young man “…Rubenrok Chronicle for now it can wait till I find a way to bring someone able to topple Klorg.”

“Well…” said a brunette who was washing her drinking a coke “…well…well…Tom atleast now get up and lets go to the Ming’s Sushi. My stomach is waiting to have it.”

Smiling Tom said “Clarissa, you and Ming’s Sushi.” And he laughed.

Tom kissed Clarissa passionately and they left to Ming’s Sushi.

On the way to the Ming’s Sushi tom said “Tomorrow are you gonna come to Cruz’s party?”

Clarissa replied “No dear…got some family function at dad’s workplace and is going there. Give my hi to Cruz if you’re gonna go.”

“Of course I’m going.” said Tom.

They reached the entrance of the Ming’s Sushi and they both kissed again passionately and went in.

Next day at Cruz’s place,

As Clarissa asked he passed her regards to Cruz.

After some hours as Tom was about to leave Cruz came near him and said,

“Stay tonight dude.”

“No man, gotta go and moreover told my family I’ll be back even though if I get late.”

“Family or Clarissa?” said Cruz smiling wittily.

Tom too smiled back replying “Both.”

After few minutes Tom left in his BMW. While going downhill his car lost control and went off the path and the edge. Tom opened his seatbelt and jumped off the car but his head hit a rock and he fell unconscious while his car went up in flames after hitting a big rock.

Meanwhile in a hut lit by three candles floating in mid air,

Alieni-ya was in some deep thought like meditation when she opened her eyes gasping and said to herself,

“It’s time.”

Later after few minutes some friends returning from the same party found the flames and it looked like of a wreck and so they decided to check it out and found a wreck. The car was badly in flames and it wasn't clear to make out what or whose car it was. And when searching for any survivors they found tom unconscious. and got him to a nearby hospital. At the hospital the doctors looked at each other as they knew his condition was worst and they may fail making Tom breathe like before. 3 days under observation but on the 4th day his vital functions went dead and he was declared dead. His body was decided to be handed over for the last rituals the next day and hence moved into the freezer mortuary.

Opening eyes Tom saw he was in a strange new world and a sorceress kind of lady was sitting in a corner. The lady noticed him.
“What is this place? Where am i?” asked Tom dumbfounded.
The lady looked at him and said in a voice so sweet “Your Highness, you are in the world you created.”
Tom didn’t understand but the lady looked like a character he ones created when he was a kid.
He wondered was he dead and where was he?
In the evening Tom woke up and got from his cot and walked towards the door. His shirt was missing and he had bandages wrapped around his chest.
He opened the door and saw the lady by the streamside nearby and to his amazement the entire scenic view looked just like the one he had created in one of his stories and so did the lady. She had long ears and a fair tone with long flowing green hairs and purple eyes.
The lady’s name in his story is Alieni-iya and to know if that was her name he asked her the name.
“I’m Alieni-ya.” said the lady smiling.
Tom was shocked to hear the name and he sat on the ground.
“Don’t be confused…” said Alieni-ya “…this is Rubanrok- the world you created once long back. Everything here is a mix of your creations. In short you are the creator and destroyer for us. You have died in your world which bought you here as I long back made a charm to get you here when you are dead in your world.”
Tom recognized the power he had created Alien-ya with. She is the most powerful sorceress in Rubanrok on the good side so what she might be saying gotta be true.
Tom too thought this was fine as he will be safe here without anything to worry of. And he realized the time of 1 whole day in Rubanrok is 12 Earth hours, so as time passed normal like for him while on Earth he’s sure it’s been only few minutes since he passed. Next day he planned to go with Alieni-ya to see the world he made.
At night he had a good sleep and then in the morning he and Alieni-ya visited the town near where he witnessed men of an evil tyrant harassing people. He and Alieni-ya fought them. He was also able to create firepowers with his hands and laser beams from eyes and also could fly and have super strength and was thus able to eradicate the tyrant’s henchmen.
And thus 3 days passed since his waking up in Rubanrok and in meantime came to sure the dangers he created was too much even for him to handle smoothly and as a week passed he began to miss his lots.

16 days passed since he arrived at Rubenrok and as he was sitting under a tree looking at the stream Alieni-ya came near him.
“What is it that troubles you Lord.” said Alieni-ya.
“I know…” said Tom “…there’s everything here but I miss the old life I had with my lots.”
“But…” said Alieni-ya :…you have everything here.”
“I know…” said Tom “…I created all these with powers but I miss my lots a lot. I’m a character designer. I have grand loving family and a beautiful loving girlfriend. For others I’m happy go lucky type person but one night as I was returning after meeting some pals my BMW skidded downhill due to some oil spillage and went off the edge, I jumped out and hit my head on a rock and then when I got conscious I find myself in a place I created. So please make me visit my old world as I gotta do many things there so let me complete them.”
“But…” said Alieni-ya “…if you go now you may never come back here.”
“It’s ok Rubanrok is in safe hands…” said Tom smiling “…so I gotta go. Make it happen. And moreover I don’t have everything coz my lotz are not here.”
Alieni-ya replied “Ok.” and cast a spell at Tom which covered him in a thick smoke and when the smoke cleared Tom’s body fell to the ground and Alieni-ya with tears in her eyes said “Good bye lord Tom.”
Meanwhile at the mortuary an attendant heard some noise coming from the bed Tom was laid, he went near and just then Tom got up smiling.
The attendant fell unconscious with fear thinking he saw a ghost as except in horror movies, never dead people spring up.
Tom walked out of the freezer mortuary. Many looked at him in fear. He even saw his girlfriend, Clarissa and his parents near the counter sitting and crying. They too saw him and were bewildered. Hearing the commotions the doctor who looked after him came and was shocked to see Tom standing alive in front of him. Check-ups were taken and in few hours it was relived to everyone’s mixed feeling of sadness and fear that Tom was indeed alive and wasn’t a ghost as they all thought.
Everyone was surprised and happy at Tom’s awakening. Due to some major problem in the hospital files Tom’s body was delayed in handling to Tom’s associates who had come to collect the body for cremation, on which Tom was lucky. Tom thanked his luck and to his amazement he remembers about his life in Rubenrok’s 21 days though it was only 2 days in Earth.
Tom and his lots left from the hospital when Tom felt someone looking at him from somewhere but turned and saw no one but near the stairs far away he saw a lady who looked like Alieni-ya. While walking he looked dumbfounded. She indeed was Alieni-ya. She smiled and said softly “Goodbye lord Tom.”

Slowly days passed....months passed,

While walking on the street one fine day, he saw 3 street thug type boys chasing a girl who was wearing an orange cap and had a pink hood over it. He followed them into an alley with a dead end and saw them cornering the girl to attack her. He interfered and those boys told him not to but he didn’t budge and was ready to fight them. His 3 pals riding their cycles by that road saw Tom fighting with 3 street thugs like boys and they too interfered. The thugs were defeated and they ran off.

Tom thanked his buddies for their help and turned to face the gal. She was wearing an orange cap and a pink hooded sweat shirt. The gal removed her hood and thanked Tom & his buddies. Tom was taken back at the sight of her face.

“Alien-ya.” said Tom puzzled as his pals looked at him puzzled as they have been his pal since childhood times and never have they heard or seen Alieni-ya and how did Tom seems to know her.

“Yeah.” said the girl.

“But how…” said one of his pals and stopped in mid sentence as he wasn’t sure how to continue.

“I know that name?” said Tom with a smile “Well you see from the time I came back to my senses after that near death accident that name and her face has been ringing in my head like your all names ring. And till I met her now I thought this was something my mind cooked up during my accident.”

Alieni-ya smiled but others just stood open mouthed.

“Well if you all follow me…” said Alieni-ya “…maybe I can extinguish your alls doubts so please follow me to the end of the alley.”

They all followed into the end of the dim lit alley between three buildings and in the alley. As they reached the centre of the alley a thick pink smoke covered, Alieni-ya and transformed into her strange sorceress form.

Others gasped except for Tom this was how he had pictured Alieni-ya in his mind.

Unknown to them few feet away from behind a big green bin Clarissa was spying on them. She had seen them from a store’s window opposite the road and had seen them follow a girl into the alley and she followed them to spy on them. Even she gasped at the sight of Alieni-ya’s transformation.

“Well…” said Alieni-ya “…I’m Alieni-ya of Rubenrok one of Lord Tom’s creations. I came here to keep an eye on you but then loved the place and thought of spending some more time here.”

Tom’s eyes bulged as he heard another name that rang in his mind and his story “The Rubenrok Chronicles.”

Soon a thick puff of purple smoke filled most parts of the alley, even Clarissa’s place too was covered by it. And when the smoke was lifted all of them found themselves no more in NYC alley but some meadow in a strange world that had a huge reddish- blue planet in the sky. No bikes or bins or buildings around or near now. Others spotted Clarissa, she told them she was spying them and then due to a puff of purple smoke she just like others came to nowhere.

“Well…” said Alieni-ya “…this is my realm Rubenrok. When Tom was in near death experience in your realm but was here and by taking my help Tom came back into your realm. Well here it’s beautiful than before thanks to Tom.”

Just then one of Tom’s thin brown haired pal looked at him and said, “Cool man...you created a master piece.”

Others too agreed. Tom just smiled not knowing what to say.

Tom and his pals listened to Tom’s past exploits narrated by Alieni-ya and had some fun around the place. After 4 hours Alieni-ya took them back to the NYC alley.

2 lovers were indulged in kissing passionately when a thick puff of purple smoke and 6 people appeared out of nowhere. They were shocked and took to their heels.

Brian, one of Tom’s tall blond well built pals laughed holding his stomach seeing the lovers run.

“Well bye.” said Alieni-ya as the 5 bid her farewell as she vanished in thick puff of purple smoke.

“Man your thought creations are superb.” said Brian.

All of them laughed and then they all left to their homes thinking of the adventure they just had.
