JUNE 10th - JULY 10th
Hi little ones, and hello to everyone reading about my life. To be frank, I haven’t done any experiments, I just couldn’t think of a name for my biography, so as Gandhiji has named his biography as my experiments with the truth, I have named mine as my experiments with the dirt. You might be wondering that I am very busy and where do I find time to write all these, I find time to write every night from 11 pm to the next morning at 4 am. I am doing a really difficult task every day that requires a lot of courage and determination to do it. I have taken a lot of pain to write this as I don’t even have proper hands, so don’t miss a single word and read on…
The place where I live is on a stand in the bathroom. Early in the morning, the members of the house one by one enter the bathroom and start their big job(eww, can’t bear the smell!)They pick me up with the dirty hands and use me to clean them. You see this is why I said that a lot of courage is needed. I am always left dirty after these humans use me. Sometimes the elders pour water on me to keep me clean for the next person to use, but these children never bother to do so. I really envy my cousins. One of them in the kitchen is used for the utensils and the other is in a soapbox. The one in the soapbox is a lucky chap. He is used while the humans bathe, but they never touch him with dirty hands as they always use a loaf to rub and never leave him dirty. I have a hectic time during the rainy season because these children come to wash themselves every now and then as they would’ve jumped in dirty puddles. I ache in every part as there is not a single day these children have handled me with care. They put me down and I have dents all over me. I was white and bright when I first came here but now I have tanned because of these incandescent bulbs and even these are flickering. There are sparkling tube lights and led bulbs in all other rooms except here. Child labor is almost banned but what about soaps? I really miss my parents (though I don’t have any) but it’s the dialogue every slave tells. People tell that humans are said to have seven lives I am not sure if it’s applicable to toiletries. But if it is true then I would like to be born as someone great, ooh maybe a conditioner. Let us hope for the best. Soap slavery must be banned soon. I have lately realized that I didn't have to be born someone great and that I have gained a lot of recognition than any posh conditioner. All thanks to the pandemic I have at last been given the opportunity to showcase my talents. I have been always kept clean and germ-free as humans now use me frequently in fact I'm even more important now than the conditioner, hehe..not that I'm comparing or anything but yeah...I had always been quite insignificant before but now I am mostly used to containing the virus as much as possible, my far relative sanitizer has become a celebrity now..but I am happy with the recognition that I have got. Once I was just added to the monthly household list but now I am a necessary evil...I mean a necessary angel! You and I know that I am mostly made of chemicals but infused with so-called natural neem scents to disguise as something organic. So these were all the experiments I've done in my life and never have any expectations you see, I never expected events to turn out this way and gain value neither did my relative sanitizer knew he would become a star overnight..once upon a time he was used only by some rich kids in schools who were too lazy to walk to the faucet to wash their hands or just wanted to show off their hand sanitizers but these days every household need one of it and something else that I would like to convey through my autobiography is that do not go finding the limelight if you have talent then the world will come to you, I assure you this is because I have known my true value during the pandemic and lastly see positivity even in dark times and always have a positive outward towards life and then happiness will be yours wherever you go.
