we think about the best villain in Hindi cinema, image of Amrish Puri nab our mind. Certainly he is. Actually, villainism in Hindi cinema and Amrish Puri are synonymous. Then, comes, legendary Pran, stylish Ajit, wicked Prem Chopra, lovable Bad Man Gulshan Grover, crooked Shakti Kapoor, mischievous Ranjit. Actually, these actors have become brand names of villains in Hindi cinema. It is an irony that Amjad Khan, who portrayed the character of most popular villain of all times in Hindi cinema, Gabbar Singh, is not counted among the best villains of all time in the Hindi cinema. Great actors essaying the negative roles such as Danny Dengzopa, Raza Murad, Sadashiv Amprapurkar, Kiran Kumar, Mohan Joshi, Dalip Tahil, Suresh Oberoi, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mohnish Behl, Govind Namdev have had their share of fame and credit and we surely enjoy watching their performances. Villains such as Mukesh Rishi and Shahbaaz Khan(Chandrakanta fame) were otherwise under-rated villains in Hindi cinema. We have also liked the portrayals of negative characters by actors such as Shatrughan Sinha, Vinod Khanna(both of them started their careers as villains), Raj Babbar, Paresh Rawal, Nasseuddin Shah, Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tinu Verma, etc. But, we have also watched a hell lot of movies, where we have seen certain villains who made a considerable impact. Such villains have been impactful and captured our attention, but were under-rated otherwise. This book is an ode to them.
Different eras of Hindi music film industry have different kind of music. The era of 1960s is considered to be the golden era of Hindi music film industry. The era of 1990s is also on the similar lines. As years will pass by, the music of 1990s will also be considered the golden era. People consider the Hindi songs from late 1980s to early 2000s under the umbrella of 1990s. The presence of musical duos was quite prominent in that phase. Like Shankar-Jaikishan

People consider the Hindi songs from late 1980s to early 2000s under the umbrella of 1990s. The presence of musical duos was quite prominent in that phase. Like Shankar-Jaikishan, Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, we had various musical duos afterwords. Laxmikant-Pyarelal were still there in the industry till we could see the advent of other musical duos. It would not be wrong to say that the style of Laxmikant-Pyarelal was adopted by some musical duos, while one of the musical duo infused the RD Burman style. This book touches the spheres of those musucal duos and the melodious compositions generated by them.
Dhanbad, a city in Eastern India is the coal capital of India. Dhanbad and Coal are synonymous. The coal trade in the city has seen some bloody gangwars. To understand the crime equation, one will have to dwell in its history. This book lays emphasis on these aspects as to how the coal trade is carried illegally by the barons and how they want to rule. The book also slightly touches the Wasseypur locality, which came into limelight after the 2012 Hindi flick,

The book also slightly touches the Wasseypur locality, which came into limelight after the 2012 Hindi flick, Gangs of Wasseypur. The murder of Neeraj Singh, the ex-deputy Mayor of Dhanbad in 2017 once again fuelled the speculations of everything being fine in the city. It is a must-read to develop a comprehensive idea and clear picture of coal mafias in the city. It will surely be an enjoyable read.
