"Nobody Takes Me Seriously" is a wicked collection of poems that spills the tea on the daily struggles of female existence in a world consumed by capitalism, complicated power dynamics, climate change, "Keeping up with the Kardashians", and whatnot! We're talking soul-sucking corporate gigs, those flaky fuckboys who come and go, daddy issues that linger around, and Pink Floyd playing as a background score while navigating through the crazy hormones every day.

We're talking soul-sucking corporate gigs, those flaky fuckboys who come and go, daddy issues that linger around, and Pink Floyd playing as a background score while navigating through the crazy hormones every day. All these channel into self-sabotaging art that craves for validation while the need for validation itself feels like a bad joke.
"Nobody takes me seriously" is a loud and dramatic meditative journey, where these questions are thrown around - "Why should anyone take me seriously?", "What is the point of being taken seriously?", "Do I take myself seriously?", "Do I take others seriously?". These questions converge at a crossroad not knowing where to go from there, so they decided to become poems.

Pauses are just outwardly empty. On the inside, they turn my mind into a giant mirror that reflects all that was left unnoticed and thought as trivial. They find light, become images, and then evolve themselves into poems. The pauses are uninvited, but they are such efficient seekers of beauty.
This book is a collection of images and voices that are experienced, perceived, and imagined during my unplanned pauses. Some of my poems are meant for the sting, some for the breeze, and all of them for the sake of beauty.
