Chandraghanta Palace Hotel is India’s only seven star hotel and arguably the most sought after hotel destination for the affluent not only in India but around the world.
But the extravagant hotel had a dark secret that was hidden from the guests and staff alike, except for some old staff who knew about it and only a handful were unfortunate enough to experience it first-hand in Room 333.
The hotel was once a palace built centuries ago by a tyrant king name Vishwaraj. Apart from his violent ways he was a sex monger who was infamous for his insatiable appetite for women and the women dreaded to cross his path.
A tribal woman named Shyama had no inkling of what lay in store for her and her tribe when the tyrant laid his lecherous eyes on her nubile beauty.
What followed thereafter was Shyama’s unending journey in search of salvation, revenge and her lost love. A quest that lasted for centuries. The only way out for Shyama was to avenge her torturous ordeal and punish everyone who was part of the heinous crime; crimes which were committed time and again on her, life after life. A cursed soul! She had waited for centuries and now it is time.
If you are visiting the palace hotel, beware! Maybe it is you who she is waiting for.

Akshan's informers sniff out valuable information: Black Tulip Gang would strike next at the Hanuman Temple of Amanapore.
The gang is after the ‘cursed’ Blue Diamond of Amanapore. Akshan is quick to beef up security at the temple with state-of-the-art technology.
On the eve of the festival, the blue diamond necklace is transported under tight security from the bank vault to the temple.
Akshan receives a Whatsapp message, challenging the inspector to catch them if he can. A flustered Akshan rushes to the temple and surprisingly finds everything to be normal and the necklace is gleaming on Hanuman’s chest.
A closer look reveals that what he sees on the Lord is a mere illusion. It will be a month before anyone realizes that the necklace is missing and Akshan has one month to hunt them down. The clock is ticking.
The chase takes him to Mumbai and then into the jungles of Jharkhand but Akshan fails to secure the necklace.
It’s the final day of the festival, a distraught Akshan is at the temple awaiting the dire consequences of his failure. The loss of the necklace would soon be revealed and it could lead to riots at the temple and maybe the whole country. Akshan would be blamed for it unless…

Mumbai, a city of organised chaos is gearing up for Ganesh Visarjan. The city thrives on the chaos, but today is an exception.
Inspector Abhay is responsible for rerouting and managing the traffic in the Worli area.
On visarjan day, Abhay wakes up to a phone call and what follows is the worst day of his life. The Worli area is in a state of chaos with a chain of incidents — an accident, a major terrorist plot is busted leading to a red alert in the city, a fire in a high-rise building, a desolate dilapidated building collapse, a teenager is fighting for his life as a consequence of drug OD, a drug peddler is forced to loot a bank, Gaitonde — the dreaded Mumbai gangster is shot dead by Abhay on live TV, a father— son relation blossoms after years of status quo, a serial killer is finally nabbed and the western suburbs of Mumbai comes to a grinding halt as vehicles pile up in a traffic jam with towering Ganesh idols waiting endlessly for their chance at immersion.
Inspector Abhay tries his best to attend to the incidents as it unfolds one after the other. A tiring day comes to an end and he had seen the worst of it, so he thought, but there was more and the day culminates in the worst twist that he could have envisaged.
And what’s more bizarre, is that every incident is an indirect consequence of a harmless butterfly flapping its wings in Australia — The Butterfly Effect.

“The only free will is God’s will.”
Did the sight of a beautiful woman make you fall in love at first sight? Did someone’s action make you lose your temper? Did a situation scare you or instill fear in you? Did you decide to invest in a business venture? Did your musical talent lead you to compose music? Did you visualize every scene in the movie that you were going to direct soon? Did you feel elated after achieving success in your dream project? Did you feel depressed because you failed to achieve a lifelong dream? Did you decide to wipe those tears after failing miserably and tried again? Did your continuous failure result in an attempt at suicide? Every action and every emotion that followed each unique situation was driven by only one thing — the ubiquitous thought.
The ‘I’ in me did not exist, it was always the HE. Our thoughts were never ours, they were His thoughts. Those thoughts were the scripts that defined our every emotion, every decision, every action and eventually everything about our lives. Every aspect of the human mind blossoms from a thought which is then converted into action. It was never in your control, although you were under the illusion of the mythical ‘I’ which made you think it was the ‘Me’ who was in control. You were in control was a mere illusion.
This book is an attempt to explain that illusion.
