Kumares Majumdar is a passionate bilingual Indo-Canadian writer. Besides his own native country, India, he has lived and travelled widely in the UK, the USA, Canada, the middle-east and other African and European countries.
      He is a veteran engineer by profession who has seen the world through the hardness of an engineer’s analytical outlook and at the same time softness and sensitivity of a writer-artist. He has to his credit a good number of technical and non-technical papers published and presented in reputed international journals and forums.
      He believes that common men should be trained to tackle their problems, improve their quality of life, and secure the lives of their future generations with the application of scientific knowledge. Through his writings and presentations, he encourages the general masses to familiarize themselves with scientific principles and apply them in daily life. He is an advocate of renewable energy, GHG and toxic gas emission reduction, replacement of fossil fuels with carbon-neutral fuels, fuel cells, water conservation, and pollution control.
