Ankit is a senior Software Developer by profession and part-time writer and Stock Market investor. Born in a middle-class family in Kolkata, he completed his schooling from South Point High School and then completed his graduation from Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology, Shibpur (formerly Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur). 
Ankit is a passionate writer and a firm believer of “Sanatan Dharma” – the unified world religion. He identifies himself as a “Weekend Author” which throws some light on how he juggles his profession and passion. He has been keenly interested in Indian Mythological Fiction novels and Indian Period Dramas from his college days and that kindled the writer within him as he felt that ancient history of Bengal in Vedic period is a topic that needs to be nurtured and debated scientifically. He believes and advocates, 
“Ancient History and Culture shapes our moral compass without which we are as good as a ship amidst an ocean with malfunctioning compass.”
He lives in his ancestral house in Kolkata with his wife (Ankita), parents (Anuradha and Biswamoy) and younger brother (Ankur).
