Krish Saikia, a school student by academics and a musician-cum-dreamer by passion, thinks himself to be unlucky because he can’t seem to find the band members for his dream rock band. Music being his love and life, he thinks it as essential as air to live. Suddenly, everything falls into place once Annie, from the ‘Scotland of the east’, takes admission to Rhine Valley, his school. His long-time best friends Adi and Ria join him in his endeavour. And when Joe, the best guitarist of Rhine Valley, at last agrees to be a part of the band after a feud with Adi is finally resolved, things seem to take a turn for the better and thus begins the journey of five passionate friends. As school gets tough, painful memories haunt them and unbelievable situations springs up in front of them, they fight it all together and thus evolves a friendship in its true spirit, beyond barriers, beyond life.

What happened on that fateful day of 30^th October, 2008? Why does God take away the most priceless things from us? What is the probability that a bunch of 15 year olds suddenly becomes high school heroes? How does one face the aftermaths of a painful break-up? Does the intimate friendship between the five best friends come to an end? Or does destiny has something else in store?

Play” takes you on a roller coaster ride of teenage life; the amazing times spent in high school, the priceless bonds between friends and the misunderstandings that surface occasionally, the first relationship, the first-break up, loss of near and dear ones, tackling depression and growing up; all with a musical twist.
