Dr. Vitthal Gore has been in the field of teaching for the past twenty four years. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor and Head, Department of English in Shri Havagi Swami College, Udgir, Dist. Latur. He is a postgraduate in English from SRTM University, Nanded, M.S., M.Phil. from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai T.N., and Ph.D. from Osmania University, Hyderabad, T.S. He passed the ‘Rater Certification Test’ and participated in the Written and Spoken Assessment Programme for Graduate Eligibility Test (GET) and Test of English for Foreign Learners (TOEFL) conducted by Educational Testing Services (USA) India Limited. He also completed a professional development course Cambridge English Teacher: Language Awareness from University of Cambridge, U.K.

He developed E-Content as a Subject Expert for twenty three different topics from British Literature, American Literature, Indian Writing in English and English Language and also delivered fifteen Video Presentations for UGC E-Content Development Programme (NME-ICT sponsored Project) conducted by Educational Multi Media Research Centre (EMMRC), English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. His video presentation are available on SWAYAM platform also.

He has been working as a Resource Person for Orientation and Refresher Programmes conducted by UGC-HRDCs, Short Term Courses, UGC sponsored National Seminars and Workshops, webinars, and other academic events. He also delivered a number of invited lectures in various colleges and universities. So far he delivered 74 presentations in various academic events.

In addition, he also developed a language software - Computer Based English Language Training Programme.

He participated in different seminars, conferences, and workshops at university, state, national and international levels. 28 research papers go to his credit which he published in National and International Conferences and Journals. In addition, an in-house publication also goes to his credit which was published in 2008 under the title English Language Communication Skills Lab Manual. He has been the Chief Editor for NGI newsletter the Tidings for seven issues in a row. He also contributed as a content developer for several books published and prescribed by different universities.

He was the recipient of the Best Flying Squad Award 2016 conferred by YCMO University, Nasik, M.S.

He successfully worked as the Convener 2009 SW II - AC for Consortium of A. P. Minority Educational Institutions and conducted state level counselling at four different centers for ECET, ICET, EAMCET, EDCET and PGECET. He was also appointed as the Convener EdCET 2010 for SW II - AC for Federation of A. P. Minority Educational Institutions. Over and above, he has been a successful IQAC and NAAC Coordinator and constantly contributing in the building of the institution in academic and administrative point of views.
