Lai Tan was born in 1977 in Ibadan, the third largest city in Nigeria. She comes from a large family of seven children. Lai always has a story writing itself inside her head and draws inspiration from events around her. She was that child and then the teenager who wrote happy endings whilst surrounded by life’s hardships. She partly lives in the real world and a fantasy one.
