Dr. Abhishek Mukherjee is an Assistant Professor and Program Head for the MBA International Business Program at MIT World Peace University, School of Management (PG) at Kothrud, Paud Road, Pune. He has done his Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Commerce, Business Administration from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra. His doctoral thesis is on “A Study of Perception of Rural Women about Self Employment and Entrepreneurial Opportunities”. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and has qualified UGC NET in Management. He also holds an M.Phil. degree. He has a teaching experience of 14 years and an industry experience of 3.5 years. He has published and presented 16 research papers in various state, national and international level conferences and various journals. His subject areas of interest include Entrepreneurship,  International Business, Business Research Methods, Research Methodology, Economic Analysis for Business Decisions, Managerial Economics, Business Communication, Soft Skills, Business policy and Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Services Marketing, Geopolitics and World Economic System and Business Statistics.
