Alexander P. Samuel, known as a pioneer of industries, was the first Indian Christian to enter Botswana. He was also the first Church Treasurer of the Anglican Diocese of Botswana—Northern Chapter. Being a fully-trained British soldier in Zambia and having fought in the Belgium-Congo war at Kolwezi border, he learnt to work hard and be punctual.
