Arun Bhagwati was born in New Delhi. In his early years he was raised in north-east India and then came to Dehradun where he completed his school education. Later he worked in various organizations across India. He started his career in the year 2001 as an analyst and worked with the corporate for the next 15 years. During this time, he was also involved with his, short stories, leadership coaching and writing articles for the learning and development industry as an expert.
Raised in an army home, he has travelled the length and breadth of the country from a very young age. This exposure helped him learn 4 languages including Nepali and he understands 4 other regional languages. His work, experiences of life and surroundings gave him a different stance to life’s reality and fiction. Monotony and a strong desire to break free led him to a small valley at the foothills of the Himalayas and there he brought his knowledge and imagination to life in this book.
Guardians of Shambhala is the author’s first book. Good work draws admiration and here we have this story beyond imagination for you. This book does not only widen your imagination but also compels you to fictionalize and visualize like the author. A well-knitted mythological fiction with an ease to connect for readers is what makes this a brilliant piece of work. Arun has also written and directed a short film and has participated in Asia’s largest film makers festival called 'India Film Project'. A music lover, and an art collector, he has a huge collection of cassettes/tapes which is treasure to him. Arun wrote his first article; as a L&D industry expert in 2012, for "The Indore Manager" which was featured as the cover story of the magazine.
In 2019 Arun started a unique venture in partnership with Shivani Dalal called A Story Club Network. Shivani is from Kashmir, the crown of India and is based in California with her family. Our journey started in October 2019 as festivals and today we're a network of 175+ shows about culture, history, wellness and politics.
In 2023 Arun began another partnership journey with Nihit Mohan called Cadmus Brothers. Nihit is a TED speaker, a globe trotter, a author, a photographer and a banker. He lives in Singapore with his family. Our journey began in 2021 with the launch of "What School Doesn't Teach You" by Nihit Mohan. It is a book about self-transformation using simple yet thoughtful techniques. Today, we're partners in the creative writing spectrum eager to share our stories with everyone around the world.

Explorers from around the world have traveled from faraway places to the Himalayas looking for this mystical place. Archeologists from around the world often speculate that this enormous city is hidden by optical illusion. Karma and Zamyang decide to embark on a journey and write an account of their experience so that no more people lose their lives looking for Shambhala. Their journey takes a turn when they meet Rudratsering and he warns them of Maya, the clan of guardians who fiercely protected the city and were willing to die for it. Mystique, legend or folklore, it was all a surprise to Ada.
