Dr. Chanchal Kumar Manna, was a Professor of Zoology, University of Kalyani, Kalyani 741235, Nadia, W.B., INDIA.  At present he has retired from services. During the long Teaching and Scientific career, Professor Manna was interested in studying various aspects of Histophysiology, Immunocytochemistry, Molecular Biology, Behavioral Biology, Ultra structural and Ethno medicinal Research. For these specific reasons he has to travel in various reputed Scientific Laboratories e.g., Institute of Molecular Biology, Taipei, Taiwan R.O.C.; Nara Women’s University, Nara, Japan; Institute of Molecular Biology, Salya Campus, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, and Bhaba Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai.
In addition to his Teaching assignments, Dr. Manna was interested in conducting Research.
Within a limited resources he has guided many M. Phil and Ph.D. students. For this purpose, he has to set up a Laboratory to do some work on Histophysiology, Comparative Anatomy, Molecular Biology, Behavioral Biology and Ethno medicinal Research. Many Research students have got their Ph.D. degree and working in their separate fields.
At present Professor Manna is interested to write some Books which will be used by the Research Students and other workers in the field of Biology, Medical Physiology and Ethnomedicine Research.
