He bootstrapped the company from his small apartment in Chicago, Illinois. DCKAP was started with 2 people, 2 computers and 2 desks and is now a global and distributed team with a diverse clientele across the world. 
 
Karthik reckons industry setbacks and renders practical solutions to organizations. Through his leadership, Karthik actively contributes to issues involving socio economic concerns, linguistic diversity and more. He spearheads Porutpal, an initiative targeted towards bridging the gap between Language (Tamil) and Business.
 
He also runs a YouTube channel ‘chatwithKC’ where he discusses social issues, shares his experiences on business, travel, language and books. On his channel, he also interviews thought leaders across various industries and people who make a difference.
From humble beginnings, Karthik and his team have established DCKAP as a fully remote and distributed company with a great work culture.
