Kazim Naqvi

Mohammad Kazim Naqvi was born in Lucknow in 1953. He did his schooling in Sherwood College, Nainital. He graduated from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 1974 and went on to do masters from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, in Petroleum Chemistry. Mohammad Kazim Naqvi was born in Lucknow in 1953. He did his schooling in Sherwood College, Nainital. He graduated from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 1974 and went on to do masters from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, in Petroleum Chemistry. The author then won a scholarship from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK, to do a PhD in Polymer Science. It was at Cardiff that the author was initiated into left-wing student politics. He was an active member of the Tricontinental Society, which coordinated the revolutionary movements against imperialism in the third-world.  
 
Kazim Naqvi has thirty-five years of experience in Industrial R&D as a consultant scientist. He has worked in India, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Malaysia. He retired a couple of years ago and now resides in Lucknow with his wife.
