Kazim Naqvi

Mohammad Kazim Naqvi was born in Lucknow in 1953. He did his schooling in Sherwood College, Nainital. He graduated from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in 1974 and went on to do masters from University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, in Petroleum Chemistry. The author then won a scholarship from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK, to do a PhD in Polymer Science. It was at Cardiff that the author was initiated into left-wing student politics.
