She left Punjab in 2003, and moved to Rajasthan because she joined Kendriya Vidyalaya STPS, Suratgarh (Rajasthan) as a permanent faculty but had to quit this job after six years because of some personal reasons. At present, she is living with her husband and two kids in Vadodara, Gujarat. She has a special inclination towards reading and writing.
