About her fears, she is terrified of dogs and spiders.
A mention about this book. It all started with her hobby of cooking various dishes as a home chef that made her experiment with different types of cuisines. Her experimental and inquisitive nature, extensive traveling to various places and learning a few tricks here and there helped her widen her horizons in the world of cooking. Over the years, her avid interest in preparing something unique allowed her to come up with many dishes that she would tweak and twist, leaving her family and friends in awe. It was when she began to assemble and collate all her notes that she fathomed of writing a book. It is her passion for cooking and all her culinary learnings in this journey of life that crystallized into this book.
A word of gratitude for her husband Bishnu Kedia for encouraging and driving her to write this book. To Yash Kedia, her son and her greatest inspiration from whom she derives all the strength and energy to achieve what she sets out to achieve. All the food she cooks is for them to savour. To Mr. Devendra Goel and Mrs. Rashmi Goel for always encouraging her and being a connoisseur for all her delicacies for as long as she can remember. To food photographer, Ritam Bhattacharya whose work with lense brought life to the pictures. And last but not the least, to her kitchen staff, Krishna and Lakhi, who, from behind the curtains, have always given unstinted support.
A word of appreciation for Anisha Agarwalla for doing the final edit & compilation and to Notion Press for master editing and publishing her dream into a book. In the same breath, a special mention for Ayush Sarda for helping her carry her social services and connecting her to those underprivileged ones who deserve empathy of those whom God chose as wealth keepers.
And finally, the biggest gratitude to The Almighty. Everything is, because he is.
