Rene Batetakang is a Cameroonian who writes poetry, drama and prose. His books have been published in the United States and in Cameroon. His desire for creative writing makes him seek new avenues for writing, to produce new literature for public consumption. His first publication titled Opportunity Comes More Than Once was published in the US in 2009 by Raider Publishing International. Several years later, Rene Batetakang chose to rewrite the story, since he reasoned that the story could still be continued.
