Roy Cherian Cherukarayil was born in the pristine village of Vakathanam, Kerala in India. He grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu in India. He was a manufacturing engineer for more than a decade and then took up a software services profession. His journeys, as part of his job, have given him the opportunity to see the different shades of nature. His writings portray his intense love for nature. He has been writing for the Delhi Press Patra Prakashan Pte Ltd, contributing poems, short stories and articles for their Woman’s Era and Alive magazines since 2011. He has also been writing stories for children in the Children’s Magazine since 2013.
