Retired after 30 years of service in Himachal Pradesh Education Department, Shri Sachidanand Ji Shastri, engaged in literary, social and religious activities, was born on April 9, 1923 in Kaushalpur village of then Uttar Pradesh, present Uttarakhand. Shastri ji's writing continued to create some or the other inspirational literature till his death in 1998.
