The brain behind this eclectic novel is Sethuraman Ramasamy who hails from the city Kumbakonam in Tanjore district of Tamil Nadu. He is known for his literary prowess in Tamil, and all his friends and acquaintances would give credit to that. As an individual, he is calm and composed on the outside but thinks profoundly on the inside. Apart from being a cricket and movie enthusiast, he managed to give a pleasant surprise to everyone he knew by finishing and publishing his first novel titled Yaathilum Melaana in the year 2010. This gave him the much needed break in authoring more of his ideas into books. His family and friends are extremely proud to see him become the first novel writer from his village Thepperumanallur and he takes this as a feather in his cap.
 After taking a break to conceptualize another idea into reality, he has successfully written Aalakaalan. We have heard about Halahal and the many stories about it, but this is an untold story that has come into the world as Sethuraman’s latest masterpiece. When the readers are done with the book, the important lessons and takeaways that they get from this will always remain with them forever.
