<p>Dr Shreyas Bharule is an Assistant Professor at the Dept. Of Architecture and Regional Planning, IIT Kharagpur. Dr Bharule is an Architect-Urban Planner by training. He holds a PhD in Urban Engineering and is passionate about Design and Sustainable development. His research focuses on Governance for Land-use Transport Integration and Transit Systems, Station Area Development within the ambit of Urban Infrastructure Design, Urban Analytics, and Urban and Regional Development. </p>
<p>Dr Shreyas Bharule has worked in the Japanese AI industry for the past few years. He has experience as a researcher at ADBI, Tokyo, and the University of Tokyo, Japan. He has co-edited two books and authored articles in academic journals, working paper series, and blogs. He has a Master’s in City Planning from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Sir J.J College of Architecture, Mumbai. He is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture India and a Member of an International Special Interest Group on High-Speed Rail: Policy, Investment, and Impact of the World Conference on Transport Research Society (WCTRS).  </p>
