CEO, Fraikin Dayim Trucks | Group Chief Investment Officer, Dayim Holdings
Amit Marwah is a seasoned C-suite executive with close to two decades of leadership experience across private equity, investment banking, M&A, strategy and business operations in the GCC. Currently serving as the CEO of DAYIM Trucks, Saudi Arabia’s leading specialized truck leasing company, he took over leadership in 2020 and has since driven a 6X scale-up of the business. This growth journey follows a successful joint venture he initiated and structured with Fraikin — Europe’s largest commercial fleet services group — whom he personally onboarded into the Kingdom.
Amit has also served as the Group Chief Investment Officer at Dayim Holdings for almost 15 years, where he played a pivotal role in sourcing and executing several complex international transactions, including JVs, M&A, fundraises, and strategic partnerships with billion-dollar multinationals across sectors such as oil & gas, infrastructure, industrial, logistics, and security services among others
His career combines investment sophistication with operational execution. He has played an instrumental role in building six businesses from scratch across the GCC, helping transform many of them into market leaders. Amit’s reputation for scaling businesses while maintaining strategic rigor has earned him recognition across boardrooms and industry circles.
Earlier in his career, Amit held roles at McKinsey & Company, Cushman & Wakefield, and Kotak Bank, working on strategy consulting, private equity investments, and wealth advisory respectively.
Amit holds an MBA in International Finance from the Delhi School of Economics and is a CFA Charter holder. He has completed executive education in fields such as Private Equity, financial engineering, strategic negotiations, behavioural finance, and International Leadership & Organizational Behaviour— through programs from a range of globally renowned institutions.
A regular contributor to media and research, Amit has been featured or quoted in Forbes India, BBC, Outlook Business, Entrepreneur ME, Gulf News, CEO Insights, CIO Review, CFO India, SME World Asia and other prominent business publications. He has also contributed to two international best-selling strategy books and has received recognition for his thought leadership across topics ranging from growth strategy to behavioural finance.
Amit's perspective in this book reflects the rare vantage point of someone who has built businesses, executed global deals, led operational teams, and advised family principals — all while navigating the subtle intersection of capital, legacy, and character.

The Majlis and the Boardroom
A Head of Investments’ Perspective on Wealth, Reputation, and Generational Legacy in Saudi Arabia
Family offices have long been the hidden engines of global capital, but in Saudi Arabia, they carry an even deeper weight: they are custodians of legacy, reputation, and national transformation. The Majlis and the Boardroom takes readers inside this world — where tradition meets modern finance, and every investment decision is as much about values as it is about returns.
Told through the eyes of a Head of Investments, this book reveals the conversations behind closed doors: the quiet influence of the majlis, the balancing act between wealth creation and reputation, and the subtle ways generational perspectives shape strategy. From governance frameworks and risk-taking to navigating Vision 2030’s opportunities, it offers both a candid narrative and practical lessons.
For investors, family principals, and next-generation leaders, The Majlis and the Boardroom is more than a guide to managing capital. It is an exploration of stewardship in a rapidly changing region — where the future of wealth is being redefined, one decision at a time.
