‘Whatever it takes…’ sounds like an overused phrase, once we become familiar with the life story of Navin Gulia, an adventurer, writer and social worker, as it dawns on us that he’s a genuine field-example of the phrase. His is a story of grit and determination, meticulousness and discipline, love and compassion. Above all, he stands out as an individual who has the ability and willingness (And, this is very important!) to inspire millions.

‘Antima Geluvina Bennu Hatti…’, is a narration of this inspiring story and the narrator is none other than the man himself! Yes, it is Navin Gulia’s autobiography, ‘In Quest of the Last Victory’ (originally published by Pearson Education), presented in Kannada (translated by Anuradha K R). The central theme of the book revolves around his enduring efforts that enabled him to post a victory that he considers as the most important victory in his life.
He’s a man, worthy of emulation and has been the recipient of President’s “National Role Model Award – 2007”. The fact that he received it from one of the greatest role models India has ever had, Dr. Abdul Kalam, makes it even more special.
To know why he considers his victory as the Antima / Last victory, turn the pages of the book…
