Babu Rajendran

A Keralite by descent, Dr. Babu Rajendran was born in October 1945 in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh). He did his MBBS (1971) and MS (Ophthal) (1975) from the Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, Karnataka, He is currently practising as a General Ophthalmologist, VR Refractive Surgeon in Chennai, He was the first person in India to perform a laser treatment on a human being across any medical specialty, way back in 1979.
