Bitu’s professional journey includes working in the medical communications team of Global Medical Affairs at renowned and leading pharmaceutical companies. With a background in veterinary medicine from Assam and a master’s degree focused on molecular parasitology and vector biology from Universities of Manchester, Salford and Keele with scholarships, Bitu’s expertise spans diverse fields, allowing them to contribute to the pharmaceutical research and development industry.

In addition to their professional front, Bitu is a devoted cancer caregiver and a loving mother to a beautiful angel girl. They also serve as a caregiver to their 88-year-old grandmother and excel as a dedicated homemaker. Bitu’s multifaceted roles exemplify their compassion, resilience, and tireless commitment to the well-being of her family members. She has shed 31 kilos from February 2023 till September 2023 by implementing the principles of “7 habits of highly effective people’’ by Stephen Covey and “Atomic habits” by James Clear. Her next book is on her weight loss journey by psychological shift and habit formation. She is also a finalist of Maven Plus size Miss India International 2023 and will be representing South zone in New Delhi in October 2023.
