Sh. Brajesh Verman did his M.A. and M.Phil. in Hindi literature from J N U, New Delhi. He had been active in Hindi theatre during his university days. In recent years, he delivered a series of lectures on ‘Concept of Indianness through Hindi Literature’ at the University of Gent, Belgium and the University of Bonn, Germany. Sh. Brajesh Verman did his M.A. and M.Phil. in Hindi literature from J N U, New Delhi. He had been active in Hindi theatre during his university days. In recent years, he delivered a series of lectures on ‘Concept of Indianness through Hindi Literature’ at the University of Gent, Belgium and the University of Bonn, Germany.
He learnt painting during his school days, and later he completed an Art Appreciation Course from National Modern Art Gallery, Delhi. He participated in the National Art Exhibition in the year 1995 and got the National Award. Since then, he has held around thirty individual as well as group shows in India and abroad. His artworks are in the collection of former Prime Minister, former Presidents, former Speaker of Swedish Parliament, the ONGC, Delhi Police Headquarters and with various industrial houses and individual art connoisseurs in India and abroad. As an IPS officer, he had been the recipient of the President’s Police Medal for meritorious services and distinguished services.
