But he continued to keep in touch with the world of literature, reading and writing poems. Simultaneously, his interest in the Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads and extra-terrestrial existence grew. He currently spends his retirement days studying these subjects with great passion. He is also interested in religion, ethics and human values.His book Ratnabali, a collection of poems, is expected to be published soon. In this book, Gautam has explored the concepts of God, love and society. This book is expected to introduce the readers of Confessions of an Ex-Banker more intimately with the author.
