The author was born on 13 June 1956 in Naushera, Dist. Patiala (Punjab, India). He did his post-graduation in economics as well as in management and worked as a senior export-import manager in a private organization.  
Right now, the author is a freelance writer and has penned as many as six books on satire, sarcasm and laughter in Punjabi. In English, this is his second volume. 
 Since childhood, the author’s favorite pastime has been spending time with his friends and enjoying each day in a lively, pleasant, cheerful, merry and optimistic manner. His ability to tread hardships and enjoy life is, perhaps, something he inherited from his dear father. While terming most of the characters as mad, the author himself doesn’t mind if someone calls him the same.
 
So, creating fanciful situations and spreading messages of humoristic style of living here, there and everywhere has been the first love of the author.
