Kamal Chawla was born in a middle-class family in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on 31st January 1992. He has a great interest in Hindi literature, especially poetry. He completed his graduation from the University of Delhi and post-graduation from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, in Mathematics.  A budding poet, he started writing at the age of sixteen. ‘Kar kuch aisa…’ is his first effort.
