Dr. Kasturi Bora is an alumnus of Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, from where she did her graduation in Information Technology. She then did her postgraduation in Management (MBA) with specialization in Human Resource Management and Marketing Management from Dibrugarh University, Assam. She was awarded Ph.D in Management in the year 2012 from Singhania University, Rajasthan. Since 2010, she has been working as an Assistant Professor in NEF Law College, Guwahati, Assam. Prior to joining NEF Law College, Dr. Bora has served as a Management Faculty in Career Concern College of Technology and Management, Guwahati (University Study Centre: Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical & Technological Sciences).
