Kulbhushan Kain

Kulbhushan Kain was born in the hill district of Falam, Myanmar where his father was serving as a Civil Surgeon. He was born into a large family -4 sisters and an older brother. He had his schooling at St Josephs Academy, Dehradun after which he went to study at the University of Delhi. He did his BA Hons in History and his Post Graduation in the same subject. He also did his Mphil in Gandhian Studies from the University of Punjab in Chandigarh.
Mr. Kulbhushan Kain taught at the DAV College for Men in Chandigarh for a brief period after which he shifted to teaching in schools. He remained in school teaching thereafter. He became a Principal at the young age of 34 –perhaps amongst the youngest in society-run schools. He was the founder and Principal of 3 of them – Bal Bharti Public School Bhopal, Delhi Public School Jaipur, and Credence High School Dubai. He was the Director at DPS Ahmedabad, Credence High School, Dubai, DPS Jaipur, and Acharyakulam Haridwar. Mr. Kulbhushan Kain is a winner of many awards and has been presented awards by 4 Governors of Indian States-Mr Bhisham Narain Singh, Justice O, P Verma, Ms. Pratibha Patil, and most recently Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh. He is a prolific writer and has written more than 1000 blogs. He has his website and writes a regular Sunday column for the Garhwal Post for whom he has written nearly 100 articles to date.
He loves to cook and has been a university, college, and school-level player in cricket, squash, and tennis. He is passionate about dogs, cooking, and travel. He has visited many countries like Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, United Kingdom, France, Czech Republic, Turkey, China, Austria, Slovak Republic, Hungary, USA, Canada, Russia, Middle East, Poland, Germany, Cambodia, Italy, Switzerland Philippines
Mr. Kulbhushan Kain is married to Sangeeta Kain who is the Principal of Welham Boys School, Dehradun. His only child (son), Pratique is a Graduate of Toronto University and Chicago Booth School of Business.
