70களில் உடுமலையில் பிறந்து வளர்ந்த என்னைப் போன்றவர்கள் உண்மையிலேயே கொடுத்துவைத்தவர்கள். நண்பர்கள், விளையாட்டு என்பதைத் தவிர வேறு ஒன்றும் பெரிதாக அறிந்துகொள்ளாமல், அலட்டிக்கொள்ளாமல் வாழ்க்கை இன்பமயமானதாக இருந்தது. அப்போதைய நிலவியலும், உளவியலும் கலந்த எங்கள் அனுபவங்களையும், பார்த்த-கேட்ட-நுகர்ந்தவைகளையும் உண்மையும் புனைவும் பிணைந்த கதைகளாக எழுதி அவற்றை தலைமுறைகள் தாண்டிக் கடத்தவேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வத்தில் விளைந்தது இந்த சிறுகதைத் தொகுப்பு.

For him, the ambience in Singapore is very conducive to cultivate the interest and hone his literary skills.
Apart from writing short stories and poems in both Tamil and English, he is also interested in pencil drawing, Carnatic music, photography, travel, marathons and social work. He is also into translation of poms from Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam into Tamil. He has received the Merit award from National Art Council of Singapore, for Tamil poems, in 2017. He is the Editor-in-charge for ‘The Serangoon Times’, a Tamil monthly magazine published in Singapore.
