She further diversified her profile in 2009 by delving into Retail Management with Emaar-MGF. Apart from this, she had been on the panel for NIFT, UG and PG admissions on behalf of AIIMA for five years.
Destiny introduced her to The Bhagavad Gita, which changed her outlook towards life. Her extensive interest in reading became the foundation stone of her writing journey. She came across Inner Voice, a spiritual editorial section in Hindustan Times, got motivated to get her thoughts together and contributed to the column with her own writing, leading to over 20 articles being published in various prominent media over a period of three years. Along with this, she also writes blogs at WordPress (krishnacalling.wordpress.com), having in excess of 100 blog posts. She also writes for SpeakingTree.in.
Mamta wrote her first book, The Perennial Journey, in August 2017, which was published by the Times Group. She has now written her second book titled Rooh-e-Rumi, and intends to continue her writing journey with varied genres and themes.

Most of us praise spirituality but fail to follow it and recognize its potential in the true sense; the reason—we chase false goals but never attempt to chase the true light that rests within.
The author, a believer of God, shares her spiritual realizations led by her own experiences of life, and interprets them in two themes – “God” and “Love”.

Rooh-e-Rumi presents many thought-provoking selections of Rumi, the famous thirteenth-century Persian poet. The quotes and their commendable spiritual interpretations attempted by the author will guide the readers to discover their own link to the experience of love and the unhindered path to spiritual enlightenment.
