Alongside her academic career, she undertook freelance design projects and spent several years in an export house, contributing as a designer. In 2009, she further expanded her professional horizon by venturing into Retail Management with Emaar-MGF. She also served on the NIFT UG & PG admissions panel on behalf of AIIMA for five years, playing an active role in shaping young creative talent.
A turning point came when destiny introduced her to the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, igniting a profound inner transformation. Her deep-rooted love for reading gradually evolved into a passion for writing. Inspired by Inner Voice, the spiritual editorial section of Hindustan Times, she began articulating her reflections, leading to the publication of several articles across prominent media platforms over a span of three years. Parallelly, she nurtured her personal voice through blogging on WordPress, where she has authored over 100 blog posts, and also contributed to SpeakingTree.
Mamta has been successfully spearheading Joy Story Foundation for the past seven years, driving meaningful change through dedicated charitable initiatives. The foundation actively works in the areas of education, skill development, elderly care, medical support, and women’s health and hygiene – touching lives and building brighter futures.
Mamta authored her debut book, The Perennial Journey, in August 2017, published by the Times Group, followed by Rooh-e-Rumi in 2019, published by Notion Press. Good to Goodness marks her third book. With a soulful pen and an ever-curious mind, she continues her writing journey, exploring diverse genres and themes.

Was goodness ever present within us?
Goodness is not merely a phenomenon, nor is it an isolated act. It is often a temporary state of action and seldom a way of life. Goodness represents a degree of selfless action, and humans are rarely conditioned to sustain selflessness. Look around—we are accustomed to possessing or lusting for love, wealth, status, material possessions, acclaim, appreciation, desires, and much more. We are victims of our desires

Look around—we are accustomed to possessing or lusting for love, wealth, status, material possessions, acclaim, appreciation, desires, and much more. We are victims of our desires and possessions, and both defy goodness.
Understanding the rudimentary role and the ensuing enigma of human goodness, and identifying the virtues that make each one of us either a good or a bad human being, Good to Goodness is a collection of author’s thoughts, interpretations, experiences, and beliefs that ultimately shape a good human being. The book also reflects on how a life of goodness affects society, our social behaviour, our relationships, and our existence as humans at large.
Good to Goodness is the author’s third book after The Perennial Journey in 2017 & Rooh-e-Rumi in 2019.

Most of us praise spirituality but fail to follow it and recognize its potential in the true sense; the reason—we chase false goals but never attempt to chase the true light that rests within.
The author, a believer of God, shares her spiritual realizations led by her own experiences of life, and interprets them in two themes – “God” and “Love”.
The author’s prescription to win the story of life in three distinct ways:
· Through self-realization,
· Embracing love, which is the language of the universe, and
· Surrendering to the Supreme Power.
Rooh-e-Rumi presents many thought-provoking selections of Rumi, the famous thirteenth-century Persian poet. The quotes and their commendable spiritual interpretations attempted by the author will guide the readers to discover their own link to the experience of love and the unhindered path to spiritual enlightenment.

- Oswald Pereira, veteran journalist and best-selling author of eight books

- Santosh Srivastava, Co-Author, The Gita Way
