Nalin, at 46, describes himself as the classic midlifer. He quit a successful career as a leading global executive, to explore the entrepreneur within himself as well as life in general. His own midlife crisis was replete with dizzying success and deep despair at failures. Listening to his story would give a Bollywood potboiler a run for its money. His experience of having worked in various parts of the world, observed different environments and cultures coupled with his own personal trials, tribulations and successes, is what provides a sense of realism and practicality to his writing. His earlier writings have been on subjects as diverse as managing one’s career in a global environment, to mythology. He has also dabbled in commercial film making, music, other arts and has a diverse set of personal interests. He calls Bangalore home where he lives with his wife and two children, devoting his time to coaching and nurturing leaders in various walks of life as well as managing his own company.
