Prashanthi Kolluru, is an author, entrepreneur and motivational speaker. During the spring of 2010, she was looking to restart her career after a brief maternity break. She had the skills, and the passion to work. But she felt helpless as she couldn't find an opportunity to work from home. Leaving her 18-months-old son in daycare and going to work was a pain. Soon, she realized that she wasn't alone. She found a lot of women who either go through the same pain as her or quit their careers to take care of their children. She questioned herself, ‘Can I make a difference?’ Can she help women continue their careers even after their maternity breaks?
She founded KloudPortal in 2014 with a vision to help small businesses adopt the technology. She takes it as an opportunity to help women find employment in technology space. Her vision is to empower women financially and emotionally so that they can take up an unconventional path toward success. The author’s goal is to also help fellow women entrepreneurs tread the path of business, give them guidance and motivation to move ahead in life and business.
She considers Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Sudha Murthy and Indira Nooyi as her role models. Under her leadership, many women have become successful leaders. She takes pride in all those women who worked with her to date and dedicates this book to the inner entrepreneur in each one of us.
