Ratna Chatterjee is a poetess, short story writer, and author. The eldest daughter of the renowned Bengali writer, Jarasandha (Charu Chandra Chakrabarti). One of the famous feature film, Bandini, is based on a Bengali novel, Tamasi, written by Jarasandha (Pen name).
