कै लाश पर्वत तिब्बत में स्थित एक विशाल शिवलिंग की तरह दिखाई देने वाला एक पवित्र
पर्वत है एवं मानसरोवर झील इसी पर्वत के पास स्थित एक पवित्र झील हैं ।जुलाई 2018 में
लेखक 53 अन्य यात्रियों के जत्थे के साथ विदेश मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित इस यात्रा में शामिल
हुए। करीब 22 दिन चलने वाली इस यात्रा को कई कारणों से यह जत्था 33 दिन में पूर्ण कर
पाया।लेखक ने अपने कुछ अच्छे अनुभवों एवं यात्रा के हर छोटे छोटे पहलुओं को अपनी पूर्ण
लेखन शक्ति के साथ इस किताब में एक वृतांत के रूप में समेटा हैं।प्रत्येक स्थान से जुडी
पौराणिक मान्यताओं एवं यात्रा के दौरान रास्ते में पड़ने वाले उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊं क्षेत्र के
कुछ प्रसिद्द दर्शनीय स्थलों के बारे में जानकारीयां भी इसमें दी हुई हैं।अंत में कै लाश पर्वत
की इनर कोरा परिक्रमा का कुछ अनुभव भी इसमें शामिल किया गया हैं।
